noticed the missing gas pump latch??
im not sure if you guys/gals have noticed that when you went to pump gas that there wasn't a latch to keep the gas pump on?
well recently california put a law into effect that gas stations must remove those clips

It's stupid. Now I have to stand there for 4-5 minutes. I can't run in to buy a drink/snack or clean my windshield etc in the meantime. Not to mention this is the reason why the gas station I frequent has had longer lines. It just makes things more inconvenient for everyone. So why the change?

Haha Okay check this out!!
So I go to get gas today and used the gas cap in the handle trick. The guy next to me looked, smirked and then did the same thing.
When I went to go pay, the guy inside (who knows me, it's my regular station) tells me
"You do illegal!! No do!! You tell other man!! You do illegal!!!!!!" So I giggled and put my finger to my lips and replied "Shhhhhh!" and then I winked at him.
He chuckled, smiled and then with a wave of his finger 'shame on you' style, he said it again: "You do illegal!! No tell other man!!"
So I go to get gas today and used the gas cap in the handle trick. The guy next to me looked, smirked and then did the same thing.

Good thing. I thought I was missing something, oh yea its the latch holder. I still find some stations that have them, but most of the ones I usually go to have remove them. I don't remember the last time one of those holder fail to where the gas overflowed out of my car. When it reaches the limit it clicks open again.
