With many vehicles being on air or on coilovers now being flush or hella flush is subjective. For example, you can be flush at driving height but be sunk when dumped. It's all personal preference in my opinion. My setup is considered aggressive but it's perfectly functional for my driving needs. This debate can go on for days and in circles but at the end of the day it's either flush at driving height and sunk when dumped = functional or sticking out but flush when dumped = aesthetics. Can't have both.

Ahhh OK IC

So you would term your set-up HellaFlush at driving height(no air reqd), versus HellaFlush while dumped (with air)?

I like the term functional vs. aesthetics and your definition that you "Can't have both". That's been the most confusing part for me to understand.

I'm sure the debate won't end until it's written in stone.

Someone should enter Hellaflush into Wikipedia !!

I would say that my set up is "hella flush and one pothole or curb away from a catastrophe/in need of a 10mm spacer when dumped and that's why I don't want air"

Can you imagine how often the entry in Wikipedia would be edited and revised if someone were to do that?? There will always be a new generation of "hella flush guru's."

Phil, since I saw your set up in person and what is a generally defined, I'd say your set up is Hella Flush and UV is Flush.

The part that I'm not clear on is how much gap you can have vs. it starting to tuck as you drop vs. just being flush.

I think that's miss_IS300's point that we could go round and round with that discussion. It doesn't appear to be a black and white answer and a lot of Hellagray area.

We need to develop a flush-o-meter that defines where Hellaflush starts and ends and where Flush starts and ends.

Yeah true!! we need something just for our x50 groups cause its so hard for our rides to be hellaflush and still be functional if you know what i mean. You should start a thread on that bro, and lets see what everyone can suggest so we can all have a idea of who's who with what..

not really...people who are hella flush and TOO AGGRESSIVE would have hella flush look at normal height, but won't be able to tuck in,,which means that one pothole can totally damage their fenders...NOT FUNCTIONAL...lol

and don't forget..my IS is my daily....LMAO
