Hmm so is the Stevens Creek estimate really cost + 10% ?

If so, that would mean Sewell is doing less then cost +10% ?

Actually for the intake, if Stevens Creek is selling 10% above cost then their cost is $283.25 which is more than Sewell's price! So this begs the question, is Stevens Creek really selling 10% above cost and/or does Sewell have a different cost??? Hmm.

That could be the case. There are a few variables that I'm guessing can affect cost.

- Shipping cost to the dealer. UPS Ground vs Air
- Volume discount from F-Sport, maybe Sewell buys more for less.

It's different when it is their cost plus 10 versus retail price minus 10.

I get certain products from people I know for cost plus 10 and what I get charged for the same part doesn't stay constant due to those types of variables.

That makes sense. I used to assume that cost should be the same for all dealers. I guess not.

Sewell may very well be the distributor in the west coast. You ever see pictures of there werehouse, its huuuuuuuuuge!!

That would explain Sewell charging lower prices overall.

Also, Sewell seems to be cheaper overall since you have to add tax to these local 10% dealerships.

If I get the springs. Where's a good place to get them installed.

San Jose area?

Thanks,

We have a recommended installers thread. It's here on the first page.

Otherwise do a search for "Install" or "shops"

I just picked up a set of F-Sport Springs at Magnussens for $220 ($239 OTD).

I've considered Sonic MS and Auto Innovations but I'm going with Exact MS to get my springs and new rims installed. EOS coupon FTW. Thanks Ben!
