The OFFICIAL Annual POTHOLE THREAD ! Updated to 2010
Please post :
Date - Street Location - City - Description
If the original poster finds that the original pot hole has been repaired, please go back and edit your thread. If others find the same pot hole repaired, identify the post number and I will try to go back and edit the original post.
Just a little heads up to those with aftermarket wheels. Sections of 101 got pretty beat up during these past few days its been raining.
~If driving on 101 Southbound between the Story Rd and Capitol EXPY exits, watch out for a series of basketball sized holes on the 2nd lane to the right and on the 4th lane to the right.
~If exiting Hellyer Rd there is a huge one about 200 Ft from the exit on the 4th lane to the right.
If you've spotted a few more in the area feel free to post. Wheel repairs are expensive.

hhmmm I got off the Hellyer exit this evening but didn't notice the big pothole you were talking about. As you mentioned, I did notice a few near the Capitol exit though going southbound.

Hellyer itself (heading toward the business park) is a big mess of bumps and dips. Good thing I work early because I can swerve all over the place without getting in anyone's way.

101 in both directions is all screwed up in San Jose. Whenever I head 101N from 237, I always notice how much nicer that section is! What gives?? All those potholes have prompted me to go back to stock wheels. =(
At times, I would have to speed up just to "hover" over those potholes in San Jose.

LOL, someone please create a Pothole Positioning System.
It is not possible even constantly watching the surface while driving. Most of time the potholes are right under the car in front of you while you are driving.
Thanks tho!
