Default Powdercoating

Anyone know of anywhere that will powder coat four wheels around $350 or less? I got a quote from wheel techniques for 275$ a wheel... just to get it powdercoated semi-gloss black, but I have read that some people have been getting it for 200-400 for all four wheels. Looking for a place somewhere in Santa Clara/Milpitas/San Jose or Berkeley Area.

I just got a wheel painted/repaired at Wheel Techniques, they did a very good job. It was previously powdercoated by another company and I have to admit, Wheel Tech did a superior job (of course, at a much higher price...and it took 7 business days to complete).

There is the 20% coupon discount for Wheel Tech from EOS...maybe you can get it from someone who was there?

good luck. I've been searching for that a LONG time. My recommendation to you is just save that money and get aftermarket rims.

darkdream, Did you ever get your wheels powder coated? I've ready a couple of reviews for wheel techniques, they were not very positive. I am thinking about getting my stock 19's powder coated with the same color as the 2013 F Sport wheels. Once I pin down a place and have it done, I will update this post with some pics. Thanks!

Try contacting RMS in fremont, iirc their prices were like 70ish a wheel, but call them for quote.

I second that on RMS in fremont. I got my 350 brake calipers pc-ed, and Nick did a pretty good job!

Nick did my set of wheels too! Pay extra for clear coat!!! The finish will take more abuse and hold up better!

Send me a PM. Powdercoat $200 a set if you wheels are currently powdercoated. If not $130 to sandblast first then 200 powercoat.

Yes he is. Answering since i know he's busy wrenching on his TOM's Supercharged IS350 . This car is "Legit"

He's been in the Lexus game a long time and has hook up everywhere.

Not too many people work and live Lexus as much as he does, plus he is highly active in the community, either organizing or attending meets.

Now if he would just stop changing his screen name every year
