Hello,

can somebody with experience in installing hid help me (guide me) install my mobilehid kit on a 2IS? i am not electrical savvy and i am not confident enough to do it on my own. i am free this week, i am willing to go to your area if its more convenient.

as for installing the kit. if you got a plug and play kit.

remove stock bulbs, bulb wires plug into the ballast only one way (male goes into female or the other way around ). power to ballast only has one plug that fits (if it doesnt power, flip that connection to reverse the positive and neg) and bam.. you should be done. doublesided tape is magical at holding the ballast down of you dont wanna/or have drill.

have fun and this info is just from my experience. dont blame me if anything shorts out

i did it!! i didnt get shocked or set the car on fire.
a buddy came over and we just open up the kit and laid it on the floor. looks pretty simple enough. mind you my electrical skill is only 3 out of 10. the whole install took about 2hrs, 1hr was spent to find a spot where to put the ballast in. pretty happy with the results, i wish i can post some pix but my camera is broken. Thanks to those who offered assistance.
