i was the only 2nd gen IS there. no love for my car since ti doesnt fit in.. although u should be able to spot it in some of the shots.

yea man cause i used to go all the time b4 the cops started raiding the place and popping hoods for no reason, they popped some dudes hood with a hybrid civic, whats he gonna have upgraded batteries lol. but since the cops are a little bit better now ill start going. but the s2k club is always there and alot of other cars show up too. it would be nice if the club lex people start showing up too. every one park together...

Mini meets in Ranch 99 have died down for several reasons.
1 - As was mentioned already, the cops tagged a lot of cars when the turn out started to grow in the hundreds. It's been pretty dead out there since then, and so there's no longer a consistent group of people attending.
2 - There have been several bigger meets going on over the past three months, so given that we all only have so much free time, these mini- meets drop in priority.
3 - With HIN and possibly EOS coming up soon, several members (myself included) are gearing up for those meets, getting in some new mods, etc. With all the shows I've been going to so far, the August time frame is when many of us have a chance to do some mods, etc.
I don't plan on attending any mini meets as all my energy is focused on getting ready for the two September meets.
It took the earth , the moon and the stars to align in order for this meet to be successful. And then there were all the Hard Core members calling each other in advance to make sure it happened.
Hope to see a lot of people then.
