Question Dealership Dilema

I've just got my new IS350, and I'm really thrilled with it. My concern is when I"ll need any service Pleasanton Lexus is close to my home, but I've heard nothing but horror stories about their service dept. Can anyone tell me if the service dept's of either Oakland Lexus or Fremont Lexus would be a good choice. Thanks for your time and advice

YUP! Magnussen's is definitely a good choice. I bought my car from there, and i live in san francisco. That's how much i like it there.

you should probably wait for the oil change interval and bring it up. just a thought. i mean, i think they would treat you better if you paid them to do something else first.

I like magnussens but its just too far from SF. I just go to lexus of serramonte, and love it there as well.

Went to Stevens Creek Lexus once and was very unsatisfied with them. Since then I have been going to Magnussen's and have been very happy. Give them a try.

Only had my car for about 7 months... But the service I have received from Lexus of Pleasanton has been terrific. I have no complaints!! They fixed my seat squeak problem and did the brake TSIB with out any hesitation. Also, gave me two free oil changes (1000 and 5000 mile).

the 1000 and 5000 mile services are always free. but only the 5000 mile service includes an oil change.

I bought my is250 in pleasanton back in january. I havent had a problem with the dealership though. The only service i went back for was to get my XM satalite installed (which they gave to me free when i bought the car), but since i live out in HMB, i recently took my Lex to a lexus dealership in redwood city for my 5k oil change. No complaints with them..very nice..treated me with respect, and most likely will take my car back to them for any more future service my Lex will need.

Btw, what is Magnussens and where is it???

Another vote for Magnussens....

Took my car in because of a slow leak in one of my tires. They found a nail in it and fixed the tire and washed my car and didn't charge me anything.
