New to Cali, where to buy+install HID's
Hey, im coming down to San francisco (first time in cali) to buy an 06 is350. It doesnt have the bixenons stock and im planning on driving this car all the way home (canada). Is there any place i can buy and get hid's installed on the weekend or latest tuesday? I would really prefer to have some hids installed before i hit the road at night.

I know a couple stores that sell automotive parts but i'm not sure if they sell HIDs. Vision Performance on 1588 Noriega Street San Francisco, CA 94122, Try Japan town, there's a place called Auto Freaks, and another place on Irving and 21st ave. It's called 3D something.

Mach III did the HID installation (purchased from them) on my other vehicle four years ago. I believe they don’t sell HIDs any more due to the traffic laws. The installation was not fancy they used zip-ties and the ballasts were not screwed to the body. While all the components are installed inside the engine bay, it’s still running well without failure after these years.

Try Vision Performance mentioned above. They do it for a pretty good price. I brought my car there yesterday and going ot be there tomorrow. I mean I can do it for you myself, but I dont trust myself with the new vehicles.

Please, spare some love to auto industry and do it at EM.
$120?? That is cheapper than a detail wash of a car, any car. I am sure EM backed their quality labor in your HID installation. You don't want to see water condensation later because you pay less somewhere else.
$120 on a $35k car, and need to guaranty the job.... I think it is a steal!

Those who recommended Mach III i guess you guys don't know. They tend to sell things to you with the best service ever, but later one steal it right back right in front of your house. One of my friends bought wheels from them and they were stolen. But i doubt they will steal HIDs back. Just some heads up for those planning to buy Rims from them.
