Oh crap! Maybe I should stop changing my oil in the delta as well!
BTW...I'm only joking in case there are any spies from other forums trying to find incriminating evidence to hold against this club

alright, i realize this is resurrecting this thread from the dead,
but I've been making trips from SF to Tahoe recently which really makes a mess of the car (a honda not the Lex). Getting a laserwash is ideal, as I need something that just gets the majority of the dirt off +underbody flush, is unattended and open at odd hours; and fast enough so the already long travel time doesn't stretch out too long.
But I have been disappointed by some Laserwash stations that are outdated, under-maintained or just don't do a good job washing. There are differences in the models, and not all stations are setup with the same cycle parameters. So did some research, got myself learned about the specific models, and tried to get details on which stations had the newer improved laserwash models (G5, M5, new laserwash) versus getting burned going to a junky old one that just dribbles on you.
Anyhoo, with a complete failure to find details on specific car wash models on the internet despite searching for a few hours, I got a hit on Car Wash Technology, Inc in Sacramento, which is a car wash supplier and Nor Cal Laserwash Distributor.
The person I mailed, gave me the following tips at least on stations that have the NEWER Laserwash stations along 50/80 between sf and tahoe.
Posted for posterity, hope it helps someone. If you end up as particular (and obsessive) as me to find a specific model of car wash, you too can reach out to Car Wash Technology. Thumbs up for taking the time to give me the tips.
If I happen to be in town though, and have the time, I do prefer to just get a full-service wash.

- Safeway gas in South Lake Tahoe has an M5
- Cameron Park 76 and Chevron both have the new Laser Wash just is as fast as the g5 now
- Coming down 80 , the Arco on Douglas Rd in Roseville right on the side west side of the ramp
- There is a G5 at Quik Stop of Leisure Town Rd (vacaville)
