when your repairing a door ding, isn't it possible to remove the door panel and remove the dent using a hammer or some other tool?

not a hammer you would use like a solid roller to smooth it out

Dent removal is an art as well as a skill. Some guys can be better at removing more difficult dents.

A hammer is not a first tool of choice at all. Some small door dings can be done without removing panels and they tend to massage the dent out with spoon shaped like tools. It's pretty cool how they can get into certain places. Rear fender areas they usualy pull panels in the trunk.

If they can't get behind a panel, then those are areas that they may not be able to remove the dent.

There will be a dent removal day during BOS. Participants and spectators will be able to have repairs done. The price is around 30 to 40% less than going to a store.

There should be an announcement on how to sign up a week or 2 before BOS. Stay tuned for that announcement to be posted by the BOS organizer Lexus_IS08.

Wheel dude had that wheel repair day, but I thought the guy was from SoCal and was only up here for that one day?

I don't know of any mobile rim repair guys off hand. Wheel Techniques and Rite Way are the two main wheel repair shops.

We've had meets at Wheel Tech in the past and they gave everyone discount coupons, but no new opportunity at this point.

Justin from West Coast Dents will be doing DISCOUNTED ding repair at the BOS meet next week.

Any participants or spectators can sign up on that day and get their dings repaired on the spot.

Spots may fill up quickly so get there early and look for Justin to get on his list.

I saw a ding repair booth at Costco (N. San Jose) over the weekend. I am not sure its quality but at least it is affiliated with Costco.

As in my post #11, Justin "might" be available to attend the Pizza meet here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nor...certified.html

If anyone is interested in having dent repair done on the spot at the pizza meet, please PM me.

I WILL NOT ask Justin to come out unless I have atleast a few people lined up for him, so please PM me so we can make this happen.

You will be paying up to 50% less than what Dent Pro charges for a similar dent.

Thanks

Empty trash cans left two 1"-1.5" dent marks on my passenger side door because of the heavy winds the past week, lol... Ridiculous. Luckily the dent's aren't deep, but I'm pretty OCD so it's extremely noticeable. Any reputable, cost efficient, and near perfect paintless dent repair guys up in NorCal or specifically near San Francisco? I know cost efficient and perfect just looks plain wrong in the same sentence, haha.

I had my friend's dad pull out all of my door dings and a fat *** dent in my quarter panel when I had my integra... I watched him massage out every dent with his special tools and you would've never guessed a dent was there when he was finished! AMAZING!

http://www.dentcraftpdr.com/

and his yelp business page: http://www.yelp.com/biz/dentcraft-newark-2

He gets hired by MANY dealerships all around the bay area and his prices are very competitive! I should also ask my friend who's doing this full time now, if he wants to pick up some side jobs.
