Props to Neil @ Lexus Stevens Creek
I know that most people don't like Stevens Creek and I don't blame you. I was one of the people who defended Stevens Creek, but time and time again, their service department keeps screwing me over by refusing to look or do anything about complaints that I have besides telling me that "it's normal".
But that aside, I really have to give compliments and props to Neil Miyazaki from the Parts Department. He's really first rate and excellent customer service. Beyond that, he gives great prices for parts. I've been to him for oil filters, oil filter wrench, sport pedals, etc..
The latest is a set of TPMS sensors. Most of you think Sewell (www.lexus-parts.com) or L-Tuned Parts (www.l-tunedparts.com) when you're looking to buy something for your car. But if you're looking for an OEM part, consider talking to Neil. Sewell sells the kit for $391. List price is $110.69 for the sensor and 9.30 for the kit. Neil gave them to me for 90.47 (18% off) and 4.79 (48% off). That gave me a total of $381.04 which is less. I had to pay tax, but I got it right then and there and didn't have to worry about shipping. Not a bad deal in my book.
I looked at the part number on Sewell's website just now and it looks like the "kit" that they sell only is the sensor itself. Their part number matches the sensor part number (42607-30030). So that means that the picture is misleading and they don't include the fitting kit or the caps. I saved $30 off of their price!
Just for comparison's sake, I called Magnussen's and they were going to sell them to me for $117 each and $12 each, respectively.
Anyone have any other thoughts? Know of anywhere that's cheaper?

I always get my oem parts from my bodyshop. There's 3 levels of pricing for parts, Dealer cost, Third Party cost, and Retail cost. Retail cost is what you pay if you were to walk into the parts deparment. Third party cost is the amount bodyshops/garages pay when picking up parts from the dealer. Dealer cost is how much the dealer pays the manufacturer for the part. I typically get a price between the dealer and third party cost.

LoL... what he said. I wanted to keep the original tires on the OEM rims, so I can't take the sensor out. Figured if I don't like the look then I can just put the old tires back on? Not that I wouldn't like them...
