JDM Theory Meet Revived : LAST Big Meet of the Year
I closed the other thread and started this new thread since the other thread got a bit convoluted and I wanted to clarify some facts, which is that CL members WILL be at this meet in Full Force !
Quite a few of us are just back from Vegas and a fun filled week of attending the SEMA Convention. Lots of fun meeting up with a bunch of NorCal and SoCal ClubLexus members , Private Invites to After Parties at the VooDoo Lounge, Tao and Hard Rock, etc. Most of us are still re-cooperating, but I finally decided to take the time to respond to this JDM Theory meet. Weeks ago, several of us had already committed to attending this meet and for many of us this will probably be the LAST major meet of the year.
I know that some of the best NorCal Lexus cars will be there to represent at this meet and if you are new or haven't met the veteran NorCal members or seen their cars up close, this would be your best opportunity to do so until next summer. Many know that we 're a pretty tight group, but don't hesitate to come up to us and introduce yourselves. We're always open to meeting and greeting new members and sharing our knowledge and are willing to help out newbies with their tons of questions . . We Know !
This meet is open to all members and all makes of cars. It is a charity event and a good time for the car community to band together and help out others less fortunate than us.
Please come out and support this event.

Lexus Test Driver
JDM Theory....yup, I've been to one of their events earlier this year in San Leandro and I have to say that there were a mix of other import cars of all makes and models. I did chat w/ several of them and they had non-Lexus cars but did that matter?
No, because their ride was created in a way that was unique to their taste and flavor just like mine was. I didn't claim I was too good for anyone there and I think the people there had no intention of being on top of anyone else either.
As a matter of fact, their staff took pics of my car and my set-up and all the other cars and it's on their website.
It was a different experience other than a CL event and everyone was respectful of each other.
You have to go and see for yourself and experience other venues and events if you enjoy import, JDM and tuner cars of all types and models. I did and didn't regret it.
CL has exposed me to other well-organized non-CL events such as JDM Theory and that allows me to bring something different to their table as well as showing me what they have to offer.
This also opens my mind and views of the import scene and see how it either grows, changes and evolves in the community.
Of course, the term "Honda, Ricer, etc." are just other stereotyping words that I have heard many times and seen in magazines, media and on the internet.
Unfortunately, these are iterations that society has imposed on a certain individual, group or an object which can either become a positive or negative effect for them.
I don't necessarily judge a person's car by this stereotype but rather by their own style and flair which is sometimes a part of their own creativity and personality influence.
Of course, you will have a very small percentage of the immaturity of individuals that either show-off or become a minor annoyance around themselves. I think this happens anywhere where there's a mix of different personalities and behavior of people.
Bottom line is that I'm glad that JDM Theory is continuing to move forward w/ their well-organized meets and become more involved w/ their community and local charities by brining the car enthusiasts' participation and the common ground that they all share together...."Their rides".

Anyone who wants to meet and roll in together is welcome to post/organize it.
Many of us I believe will just show up.
Those of us in the show will be there most of the day, but others who choose not to show can still drop in anytime and hang with us, plus a donation would be appreciated.
