The wife wants a pet, so we're looking to adopt a young kitten.. We've been to the animal shelter and a few of the pet stores and i guess everyone has adopted all of the kittens. Anyone know of any? thanks

We went to Petsmart and Petco today... they had nothin We're gunna keep checkin back... After my little confrontation with one of the guys at the Fremont animal shelter, i dont think ill be going back there for a little bit... haha...

Since kitten births peak in the summer, you could just wait a few months and I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding a kitten then. Also, check out http://www.petfinder.com/

Yup, cal_alum is right. I used to have 2 cats, and both times they were adopted around June. Lots of kittens are born around April and weaned in approx 8 weeks, which makes June the time SPCA, etc have lots of kittens to pick from.

Happy to say that we actually picked one up yesterday.. One of my co-workers had a 10 week old kitten that they couldnt take care of anymore, so its new home is with me and the wife.. Thanks for all the suggestions and comments guys/gals
