Well Automall tint recommended by Inkblot is close to you and a lot of us have gone there.

So new to the area eh? You really came from Florida?

What city is your extended stay. Several of us meet for lunch in the Fremont / SJ corridor.

we might be able to hook up?

Yah our company headquarters are in Fort Lauderdale, I still have my house in deerfield beach. We bought out 3 silicon valley companies and are going to establish a larger west coast presence. My boss and I relocated out here to help build out the teams here and all that fun stuff.

Currently I'm in Milpitas by the large shopping mall - company is paying for a few more weeks until I find a place to live.

Work is off First street in SJ - would be great to hook up with you guys. I'll send you a PM with my email/IM details.

Thanks for the warm welcome

Ahh, many of us meet for lunch over at In N Out in Milpitas, sounds like you must be at the Extended near the Great Mall.
I live off of First St. so as I figured, you are in prime Lexus country.

We have a large active group here and I'll be announcing our first meet of the year, very soon.

Stay Tuned

Thanks again for the recommandations.

My car is currently getitng tinted at AutoMall tint. They have a great shop, small bays, nice a clean, very nice and explained all the available options.

I ended up with 30% fronts, 35% rears, 20% back window - according to them should be rather uniform looking and hopefully I won't push my luck too much with Cali's no front window tinting policy...coming from florida where 30% is considered the min. tint for windows it was quite a shock to hear CA wasn't very tint friendly

Glad you like their work.

Over the past 10+ years, Sid (The owner) has done 5 of my cars and I am about to have a 6th one done soon.

I have never been pulled over for tint (Knock on wood) for any of the jobs that he did. We always go for that split between front side, rear side and rear. That set up works really well.

These were taken on an overcast day.....the lack of sun and black interior make it look much darker -

Default Window Tint recommendations in the SF Bay Area: All Threads Merged

Hey all,

Just got my IS, and it is in need of tint. I plan on tinting the front the same as the rears, so I am not going to go that dark. Maybe 35-50%.

Any places some can recommend in the South Bay area (San Jose).

Thanks in advance.
