Just picked up an IS300 with 92k miles. Looking for a shop to do the 90k service and to use for maintenance going forward. I live in SF and willing to drive an hour for a good shop.

I've called the Lexus dealerships all over the bay area and get a huge range in pricing and differing items in their 90k packages. Recommendations would be great, thanks!

Any recommendations for installation of stretch tire services in San Francisco or close to the city? I'm not trying to go down to SJ everytime I need new tires, lol.

Any places local to San Francisco/ Daly City/ San Mateo that install coilovers at a better price than $600? Or is it not that difficult to install myself? Coming from someone who doesn't have much experience with working with cars

Try getting a quote from Impact Performance. They are frequented by the Lexus community. You get what you pay for and if you are not experienced then you should PR obably leave it up to the pros.

if you attend our next meet were having, the attendees will get discount coupons for some of the popular shops that many go to.

RMMGS4, Giantsfan, I'll be sure to check out impact for a quote. When I heard 600, I thought that was way outta range, I mean that's more than half the price of the coils..

Is Impact still around? Information available is scarce. Even their new yelp page has no reviews.

I need to replace my leaking struts and looking for a reputable shop. I'm located in Emeryville/Berkeley.

Any independent shop able to reprogram transmissions?

I want to get my LS430's transmission reprogrammed due to the low speed shifting problem. Dealerships wants over $400...

did you find a place to get this done? I'm looking to have some front suspension parts installed, I've already received a quote from Exact but can't find much about Impact online - their website seems to be down, no presence on yelp, and their Facebook page says that they may be permanently closed?

Been going to Performance Auto Care in Fremont (off Auto Mall) for my interval services. Doesn't look like they specialize in any particular make, but they have done great work for me. Also went to Exact for my springs/exhaust install.

For regular service and fluid changes I go to Japanese beetle. However I am looking for some 4x4 specialist for Suspension and lift on my GX470. At 165K miles the rear suspension airbags can give any time, and I am thinking of changing the whole suspension setup with OME medium duty as the stock ride has gone very jarring now.
Japanese beetle does not seem to have much experience in 4x4 and suspension upgrades though. Who do you recommend in Santa Clara/San Jose?

Hi! We specialize in suspension for all Lexus. You can stop by our shop in Milpitas to discuss about it, we can replace with OEM suspension or do a conversion. Let us know.

Thanks,
Sandy
