I take my car to Impact Performance in San Mateo (415) 602-5338. They did my Futura setup and I know they did a few other CL member's Futura setup as well.

I take my ISF to Elite Performace in Burlingame 650.689.5045. Ask for Leo/Gary. The whole crew there are track guys and definitely know their stuff. Tell them Stalone sent ya.

Default routine 90K service in Sacramento area, which?

Wife has 2007 RX350, that need 90K mile service. It also has engine check light, trac off, and VSC lights that came on, but does not blink.

local mechanic says it is OK for now.

I need to be introduced to a reputable, reasonably priced Lexus mechanic, near Davis-Sacramento area, can someone help?

thanks,

@Dinosaur Any updates on getting your brake/rotors replaced yet? I've contacted Impact and they're booked solid. I am looking for a local/reliable shop also at the moment too...

Shop that did my work on the Peninsula that I liked was Elite, same one that Stalone mentioned, and if you want to support a new shop, check out Trackspec Autosports, they are located in Fremont. Jon Vo is your one man show. He's new so likely to have plenty of appointment slots open.

Check them out on FB.

I would also consider shops outside of S.F if you have had good experience with them.

I've asked a few shops near my house in the Outter Sunset area and they quoted me ~$450 just for labor.

Thanks in advance guys/girls!

I've been there for smog test before. I've never had a smog test that passed in less than a minute. Just a visual inspection and paid fees. No dyno or device in the tail pipe. He said it's because our vehicle are newer didn't need all the physical tests. No complaints here. I got my registration a week later and I'm a happy camper.

The only question I have is if they will use a torque wrench to tighten it all back up or just use an impact wrench to tighten all the bolts. I've seen some youtube videos where they torque certain bolts with the car planted back on the ground and torqued to a specific spec. Other bolts are just straight impact wrench.

Hey fellas. I have an ISF that needs springs to be installed. Any shops in Gilroy to San Jose area would be a good help. Thanks!

Default Oil Change near San Jose

Anyone know a shop that can do an oil change if I brought my own oil near san jose? I searched and it seems like a lot of the shops are out in east bay. My cars pretty low so it would have to be somewhere that accommodates lowered cars. Thanks!

have your front tires run over some 2x4 then get a floor jack just high enough for a fat person to slide underneath, remove small access panel for oil filter, proceed usual oil draining procedures.

John @ Autosport209 and his staff took care of my rear suspension. Figs rear lower control arms, Figs toe links, Figs sway bar end links, Figs poly bushings, and F Sport rear sway bar. Then got an alignment.
