I take my ISF to Elite Performace in Burlingame 650.689.5045. Ask for Leo/Gary. The whole crew there are track guys and definitely know their stuff. Tell them Stalone sent ya.

routine 90K service in Sacramento area, which?
Wife has 2007 RX350, that need 90K mile service. It also has engine check light, trac off, and VSC lights that came on, but does not blink.
local mechanic says it is OK for now.
I need to be introduced to a reputable, reasonably priced Lexus mechanic, near Davis-Sacramento area, can someone help?
thanks,

Shop that did my work on the Peninsula that I liked was Elite, same one that Stalone mentioned, and if you want to support a new shop, check out Trackspec Autosports, they are located in Fremont. Jon Vo is your one man show. He's new so likely to have plenty of appointment slots open.
Check them out on FB.

It's about that time to change out my brakes and rotors. I've purchased all parts from Sewell and only looking for labor. Anyone have suggestions on which shop to go to? Each has their own hourly labor rates so instead of driving around asking about their prices, I was wondering if you guys would be able to give me a rough idea and suggestion on where to go. I would also consider shops outside of S.F if you have had good experience with them.
I've asked a few shops near my house in the Outter Sunset area and they quoted me ~$450 just for labor.
Thanks in advance guys/girls!

The only question I have is if they will use a torque wrench to tighten it all back up or just use an impact wrench to tighten all the bolts. I've seen some youtube videos where they torque certain bolts with the car planted back on the ground and torqued to a specific spec. Other bolts are just straight impact wrench.

I've been there for smog test before. I've never had a smog test that passed in less than a minute. Just a visual inspection and paid fees. No dyno or device in the tail pipe. He said it's because our vehicle are newer didn't need all the physical tests. No complaints here. I got my registration a week later and I'm a happy camper.

Oil Change near San Jose
Anyone know a shop that can do an oil change if I brought my own oil near san jose? I searched and it seems like a lot of the shops are out in east bay. My cars pretty low so it would have to be somewhere that accommodates lowered cars. Thanks!

have your front tires run over some 2x4 then get a floor jack just high enough for a fat person to slide underneath, remove small access panel for oil filter, proceed usual oil draining procedures.
