Im from sf and I have always brought my wheels to Advance wheel repair. For Yelp reviews aren't that great but all my experiences were really good with them. I had my racing hart c2 done by them and they look fantastic like they were brand new wheels. I only bought it there because they were local to my work and we have a contract with them

Hey guys, I was wondering how much you guys payed to have a minor bend in a rim repaired or how much you think this bend would cost to be repaired.
(if you'd rather not say in the open forum, it'd be appreciated if I could just get a PM of a figure)
Here are some pictures of the bend. It holds air still but still I would like to have it repaired for more piece of mind.

Thanks in advance for any help

At Wheel Techniques a typical Bend or curb is at a starting price of $125. They don't charge much different based on how much curbage or the degree of the bend unless it is really bad or more than one bend. Also the price varies if the damage is on a wheel that needs to be painted, whether the lip is polished, chrome or machined. Lot's of variables.

Since yours is on the inside, it's probably not going to be high. You are welcome to post price quotes from whoever you go to, but PLEASE make sure it is a written quote versus a phone quote.

Default Recommendation for a Rim/wheel repair shop near SFO

Hello fellow members,

I need a recommendation for a good rim/wheel repair shop located within 30-45 minutes of SFO (San Francisco, Daly City, South San Francisco, San Mateo area)

I have a set of 19" Forgestar F14 in gunmetal that need some repair. 2 have minor curb rash, 1 has major curb rash.

If anyone could recommend a local shop I would appreciate it.

Thanks everyone.

There are no shops that specialize in wheel repair in the area you requested, though you might find independent or mobiule services.

Shops that might provide that service in your area, probably will just sub-contract the work over to Wheel Tech in Santa Clara or other shops in the East Bay.
