where to get hood painted from
I tried searching but did not find the answer.
I want to get my hood and trunk painted because to fix rock chips and key scratches from haters. I live in the Sunnyvale, CA area and was wondering if you guys know of a reliable paint shop or mobile painter.

I placed this question here rather than norcal section so a bigger group could see it and help a fellow member out.... I am sure there are members here who have had your bodykits, and panels etc painted from somewhere in the Bay Area (Silicon Valley). If you are that member and are satisfied with the paint job... could you *please* refer that shop or mobile painter to me?

RMMGS4 has painter that he would recommend, vs. a specific shop. You can PM him for that info, and I believe it is in your area (at least in the San Jose area).

Mark as you know the last meet we had this past Saturday, we had 3 cars on display that had work done by the same painter for redgs4, INDGOGRL and SOLO all had partial paint work done, two had hoods re-painted, but basically you can see the workmanship for yourself.
Since the guy is a private painter and does not have a store front, everything is by referral and by appointment only. I know you are planning on some work to be done, so just let me know when you are ready.

I'll let you know when Ive saved up enough, seeing as Im getting the whole car painted, along with the UGO roof spoiler and TTE lip.

All I did was click on the "search this forum" on the Norcal section and typed in "bodyshop".

well i've had all my bodywork done by 19th ave autobody in SF. I know the owner personally so he helps me out with things. If anyone has seen my car, then you have seen the quality of their work. They've done the install and paint of my vertex bodykit and fenders, as well as some pulling of my rear fenders. I managed to help out a couple friends getting their spoilers painted and installed for sub 200.... a hood might be a little more but if ya need help on that and near sf, lemme know.
