Default Anyone going to Premier's grand opening?

Hi guys, still a n00b here so I hope the mods don't mind me posting this. I just thought I would help Sam and Wilson of Premier Mobile spread the word of their grand opening and to see if anyone else is going. Here's their email to me:

Hey guys! We at Premier Protective Films International will be opening our new facility at 43096 Christy St, Fremont, CA 94538 on April 29th (Saturday). Here are some highlights of the day:

1. Gathering of scores of cars (Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsche, BMW, MB, etc.). Come out and meet new people and see some exotics!
2. Raffle for one free pre-cut paint protection film kit
3. Raffle for one free windshield protection film kit
4. Food / Beverages
5. Introduction to our full line of services for your vehicles' needs
6. Come in to see one of a few Porsche Carrera GTs with the full vehicle wrapped with our protective film

Please spread the word on the forums and shoot me an email if you are planning on attending. Thanks!

Best,
Sam

I got the same email message along with others here. I exchanged a few emails with Kris and here is what I got from them.

As terrorism continues to be a threat, we will be displaying (as a Madico Safetyshield Master Installer) blast-mitigation film for commercial flat-glass. We will give attendants a chance to see up-close how strong is our blast-mitigation attachment system on flat-glass (yes, we will have a bat for attendants to use on the filmed piece of framed glass) - this would be quite interesting to say the least.

In addition, our display of the windshield film would give attendants a first look at the clarity and strength of such protection from road debris. (Yes, it would be one sheet for the entire windshield - not the type that only covers the frame of the windshield). We will also be displaying our new line of safety film for side glass, which will not only protect from "smash and grab thieves", but also from a side impact.

One other highlight: for those who attend the grand opening on the 29th, and schedule an appointment for installation by May19th, will automatically receive 10% off of the installation price. This must be signed up in person on the 29th.

All makes / models welcome

Regards,
Kris

I'm going to head out to this. I just wish the 10 % off coupon would be for a longer duration, but I can talk to Sam about that. Car still needs to be repainted... I wanna learn more about their safety film. Since I've had my car broken into through the rear driver's side window.

I'll probably stop by for a while.

This location sounds like Sid's place. Automall Tint specialists. I hooked up Sam and Sid about a year ago, so it looks like they might be partnering here in some way. Sid is a top of the line tinter and Sam is the clear bra master. I'm not surprised if they are joining forces

Geez where's my agent royalties.

I believe Sam said that it will be down the street from Sids.

I stopped by Sids yesterday and he showed me Sams shop within a stones throw of his shop, within the same complex.

Located right off AutoMall on Hwy 880, this is an Industrial park with all one story single roll top garage type doors in back and store entrances in front. The parking is 99% empty on Saturdays so lots of room. It will definitely be a treat to see some exoticars with the Xpel treatment, plus we'll probably see afew Club Members cars with the Premier Install touch, out there too.

Bring your camers and come hungry.

Sounds like various other car clubs will be coming by to hang out there too.

Sounds like a good time for everyone.

I'll probably be going as well. Have to take advantage of events that happen in my own backyard.

Hope it's not still raining by the end of April.

We'll have to let Sam know that some of his Lexus demo cars will be present.

I went by to his place today just to check out the location and they were remodeling. I did see a Lotus Exige inside right next to a black F430! Looks like they are remodeling and working at the same time. Sam told me that he's expecting A LOT of cars coming through for his company. I did tell him that we will be there to support him and I could tell he was sincerely grateful especially when they are not a sponsor here anymore.
