There were a few but I know at least 2 got sold to non-CLers.
If you're a bit more specific about what work you need done, I can see who's willing to do it.
I can prolly drop in the motor for you in my garage, but if you don't know anythng about the wiring, then you need a lot more help than I have time to offer.

What exactly do you want done, and what kind of budget are you working with?

do you know any shops in the bay area that have the 1jz soarer clip for sale?? i perfer to purchase it some locally if i can.

im just planning to do the 1jz swap, since finding a usdm 2jzgte swap seems impossible, maybe not impossible just gotta keep digging

If going with 1JZ, why not just pick up a cheap-*** JDM 2JZ?
What do you plan to do about SMOG?

I was one of those guys that thought: I'll figure out SMOG when the time comes, and then the time came, and I was caught with my pants down, so to speak.
The best advice I can give you: FIgure out what you're gonna do about SMOG before you make a decision about which swap to do.

I'm about to get the 1JZ, how much harder is the jdm 2JZ? I know there are threads but its tedious to read. Should I get a stock wiring harness and start extending wires?

where are you getting your motor from?? im trying to find a 1jz locally so i can check out the motor in person. so if any problems arise it wont be a headache to get them to warranty something.

maybe we can get our motor at the same time so we can get a deal

Goooooooooooood Luck trying to find a shop that has a 1JZ for sale here in NORCAL. Thats sounds more like an LA thing. But if worst comes to worst here is a site that might help you out..
