NorCal Typically has Only one BIG meet a year which is the End-of-Summer Meet:

Now, by popular demand, we will be holding our second BIG meet of the year. This Meet kicks off the summer as a Family oriented activity, meant to break the ice, get to know new members and meet the significant others that support our typically "Car Centric" events.

This is a chance for the newbies to come on out and meet the long time members and pick their brains about the various mods on their rides. Here's an example of some of the veteran cars that will be there: http://www.lexusgonewild.com/rides.shtml

It will be interesting to see some cars at the beginning of summer and then see how they will be transformed by the next End-of-Summer-Meet, tentatively scheduled for Sept. 19. Last years event was the biggest Lexus ONLY meet in the country.

This meet is presented by LexusGoneWild on behalf of ClubLexus and IS300.net.
The Main Attraction of this meet will be the First Ever ClubLexus vs. IS300.net Volleyball Tournament.

Come on out and bring the family too. We will try to have something for everyone.

Folsom Lake is a large recreational area about 20 minutes outside of Sacramento.

Don't let the distance fool you. It was entirely intentional. We will probably be organizing some caravans up there from various parts of the bay area. These caravans could possibly merge at various points on the way up. As many of us know, it is always quite a site to see 20 to 30 Lexus cruising in a group on the freeway. Half the fun of this meet will be the drive up there and back ! There are rumors that some people will be taking the LONG way back home !

We are currently finalizing the exact location of the picnic / BBQ within the Lake area.

Those ClubLexus members who are interested in competing in the volleyball tournament please PM me (RMMGS4) or post your interest on this thread.

IS300 members: Brian (Fart_Man_IS300) will be organizing the v_ball team for IS300.net.

Due to the potential for this activity to have a large attendance, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Post a response here if you are interested in attending this meet. Brian and I can only coordinate large meets like this with an accurate headcount. It helps us better gauge and plan the logistics, which makes it a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
