Question Queens/Brooklyn --- Good Car Wash Places?

Hey all,

Just wondering where CL members take their Lexus to have it washed.

I have a Black Sapphire Pearl. It's pretty much like a black car. I had it for two weeks now (brand spanking new) and I can see the paint isn't so durable. If I look hard enough, I can see a few swirls here and there. It's my first time with a black car.

I make sure I decline dealer complimentary washes because I'm pretty sure that's not such a good idea. But yeah, I live in the Flushing area. Any suggestions for no brush car washes?

I wish I could do it at home, but I just don't have the time or the place to.

Thanks!

I think I know which one you're talking about. I don't think that's brushless..or is it?

My friend told me about it, there's a long line during the special.

Be careful with those brushless car wash places. What they do is spray your car with water, some soap, rinse and dry with towels moving all that dirt that didnt come off from one panel to the next. Even those hand car wash places dip those wash mits in the water once and do the whole car. Makes me wanna cry every time.

i just washed my car yesterday in my driveway...your better off washing it yourself...b/c they never wash it right or at least as clean as you want it you know...if think the weather might hit the upper 30's this week so wash it then and come through to the lexus meet in farmingdale

At one of these places in brklyn they wanted to charge me $30 for their premium hand car wash that included putting scratches on my burlwood ( they cleaned the seats, did the dash, wiped down the door sills and went back and cleaned my door panels all with the same towel. I almost fainted.) and hand washing my car with a microfiber towel. These guys took a microfiber towel dipped it in the water and started going at it. Hood and fenders, while im standing there and waiting to them to maybe atleast rinse that towel. No, they just kept going, bumper, doors. I couldnt take it no more so i came up to one of them and said they'll f*** up my paint if they keep doing this and they were like: No, this wont scratch the surface, this is microfiber towel. At that point i wanted to punch one of them.

If only i had some money to open a car wash i would do it right.

Ultra Sonic 249-24 Jericho Turnpike, Bellerose, N.Y. 516-502-2818?
i use that place. they have unlimited car wash for $40-$80/month and are open like 7-7 or so.

i don't think they have a website, but obviously others commented on them on other boards.

i personally like them. rail-less, won't use brush if asked, see through windows, and air pressure spray into cracks for left over water.
