There's a "global" station on Harvard Ave. in Brookline... it's a tiny little gas station, but the mechanic there KNOWS HIS STUFF.
I've taken my LS400 there for a few problems.... and he never tries to squeak out anything extra, and is always up front and honest. I found him through a recommendation of another mechanic with whom I used to to business (but he went OUT of business).
I've been taking my car there for about 3 years for oil changes and anything else I needed (one of my o2 sensors needed replacement, power steering pump issue, and standard stuff like belts/fluids).
Granted, I'm not the MOST knowledgable person when it comes to cars... but this guy is up front, honest, and he knows his stuff... and that's what counts in my book.
my 2c.

Well I chose Master Mechanics Automotive in Natick.
EXCELLENT!
They did the work within the time predicted and were almost $200 cheaper then the original phone quote. Mind you the final bill was $2000 less then Ira Lexus in Danvers and $900 less then Herb Chambers Lexus in Norwood.
I plan on taking my wife's Pilot there when her warranty expires.
Needless to say, I'm done with Lexus dealerships.
