Looking for a good place to do a tune up on my GS.
Well I just called Firestone and they're quoting me $316 for a regular tune-up.. Changing plugs and whatnot... Anyone know of a good place for me to go and get a tune-up in the DFW area? Seems like 316 is a little steep-.-
Thanks in advance!

Jeff: It has a little over 140k miles on it and I honestly don't know to be honest.. I'll ask the guy I bought it off of tomorrow, but my check engine light has been on and I read that when it's in need of a Tune-Up that could be what's causing it. When I first got the check engine light checked out the diagnostic was showing that it was the gas cap.. Bought a new one.. My mechanic turned it off and it came back on not to long after..
But I basically wanted to get it tuned up 'cause my gas mileage seems to be really low, so wanted to do that and get my fuel filter changed to see if I get a difference.
Slvr: I know right? I was like you gotta be kidding me.. Just to change some plugs? Thanks, but no thanks.

What Year/Model is your Lexus? I have a technician that works at a Toyota Dealership who works on my cars. He's done side jobs for me and my friends in the past. Do you happen to know what needs to be done for your car? I can ask him once you respond to this PM, BTW, he might be able to diagnose your CEL (Check Engine Light) with Toyota's scan tool.
I'll be waiting for your response.
