FS/FT: RHD 2000 BMW 540iT (UK Spec) - Trade for 2nd Gen GS300
For sale is a 2000 UK spec 540iT (VIN: WBADR62020BX98168). It has 175k on it. High miles, but runs great. I have almost all the service records for the car. It has current SC registation/tags/title/insurance.
Some things about it:
*Bilstein shocks at 4 corners: HD in rear and sport up front. They have about 3k on them.
*H&R springs on the front and self-leveling airbags on the rear.
*BMW OEM Style 95 19 wheels: 9" F, 10" R ($550). They were center bored to match the e39 hub ($200). General Exclaims: 235/35/19 F 275/30/19 R. The rims are OEM take-offs and have some rash.
*20% Tint all the way around with custom tint in rear (It has a logo designed by me for the tint shop in the corner created with tint).
*Complete M5 Brakes with C/D rotors ($800).
*BMW OEM M-tech rear bumper ($400 without paint).
*New BMW OEM cupholders ($90).
*New BMW torque converter (w/3 yr warr) ($2200). This was installed about 12k ago. Replaced filter and filled w/OEM fluid.
*New OEM Behr Radiatior ($120).
*REAL silver/black carbon fibers roundels all around.
*Custom front and rear UK plates.
*UK spec hitch on it. I have the insert for the bumper (pictured) but it is not on. I thought it was neat with the 50mm ball instead of reading 2". I've never towed with it but the previous owner may have. I actually have two inserts if you wish to cut one for the hitch.
Car has ~290 hp and it is smooth on the highway and stiff around town as it has the factory sport package. It has the Motorsport seats, tiptronic transmission, and M-steering wheel factory. Oil changes with OEM filters and Mobil 0w-40. A few cosmetic things worth mentioning: The wood cover for the Business radio has a crack in it. Have no idea how this happened. Paint about an 8-8.5 out of 10 due to front chips. The interior is definitely an 8.5 or 9 out of ten- no rips in the seats; reminds me of a 50k mile car. Also the center console rattles going over bumps. One of the front headlamps gets fogged sometimes. Front mats are a little worn.
The car has a clean and clear title and clean history report. This car was my DD before I bought a my truck and I now have a company car. This car's not perfect but it's a great driver and will catch much attention. If you have any questions, send me a message.
Please do not post if you don't favor the asking price. I'm looking to get back into a 2GS like my previous one (attached photo ). I'm wanting a 2001 or newer 2nd GEN GS300 with HIDs and NO navigation) - This would be a preferable trade option
Asking Price: $8,750 OBO or Possible Trade
Location: Edit: Car now located in Pittsburgh, PA. I moved it up from my family's home

wow my dad had a 2000 528iT and it was sick!
but this is just insane! wish I wasn't spending all my money on my car, or else I would buy this, bag it and make it hella flush in a heart beat!
Good luck with the sale!

Bump. Car is still for sale. Price is now $8750. Want to get it gone so I can move on to something else. It's now located in Pittsburgh, PA. I moved it up from my family's. It still has current SC registration, yada, yada.

I can’t believe there is a post about this car. I have been looking for any information I could get my hands on about its previous service history. I am the current owner of this car and am doing the timing chain guides and chain service. It still is a tank on the road (license plate is “RHD PNZR” ) get a lot of attention on the road. Only 2 tiny rock chips on the car and is sitting on 18in m-parallels right now. It is very hard to get information on these v8 wagons in RHD because there were only 7 made
