Hi Everyone, very new to CL NELOC, but been around CL NorCal for few years. Sold my IS250 awhile back, but would like to go back to lexus family. I just moved to NYC, trying to take over a CT200 lease from someone on craigslist. I'm not familiar with the DMV restriction in NYS, the lady(current lease holder) told me if I'm taking over her lease I need to apply for new license plate and registration at DMV (Doesn't really work like this in California). Need advice, how to take over someone's lease in NYS.

Sold my IS and bought a RRS and a Honda Insight on Air


Still have these two cars in Cali, move to NY is temporary.
I do have a ML63 in NYC, but too much gas and I don't want to pay over-size parking everyday in the city.

That's why I'm trying to take over a short term lease for the CT200. Thank you very much for your help, appreciated
