Default 2000 RX IACV Cleaning

I'm in West Orange. My car didn't start two weeks ago--no CEL, but if I held rev, it would stay on. If not, it would die. Must be IACV.

Well, after two weeks vacation, I started the car right up yesterday, and it kept its own idle.

Is there anyone nearby that would like to undertake helping me clean. I can pay...But I assume that my best move is to take it to a shop today since it does start and have them look at it...only thing is, I'd rather DIY, I've just never done something like this before.

Or, if anyone can recommend a shop.

Thank you!

If you're coming out to the meet, I can walk you through how to do it in person and you can do it once you get home. I wouldn't advise you doing it at the meet.

I don't think I can make the meet, unfortunately, but I am going to try my best.
