NELOC "Season Kickoff" BBQ at Thompson Park - Sunday, July 13
I know we are running a little late for our first BBQ of the year, but better late than never! 
With that being said, we will be having our first one at Thompson Park in Monroe Twp, NJ on Sunday, July 13. Andy and I were just briefly discussing a few days ago when and where the event should take place and as of today, Andy already took care of the park reservation, so this is officially a GO folks! 
I have posted below the details of the event and and the attendance list. Add yourself as soon as possible if you're planning to attend and let us know what you plan on bringing. ANYTHING HELPS, so please contribute with whatever you can. Let's see how big of a turnout we can get this time! One of our past BBQs brought in over 70 cars!
LOCATION: Thompson Park (Grove 1A), Lakeview Drive, Monroe Twp, NJ
Time: 11AM-6PM (or whenever the party is over!)
ATTENDANCE LIST (Screen Name - Name - What you plan on bringing):

2. phatjay - Jimmy and Nancy - charcoal, lighter fluid, hot dogs and buns, cheese, chicken drumsticks, salsa, marinated flank steak, tortillas

recommend route
from the New Jersey Turnpike take ex 8A
veer left to get on Forsgate drive (there will be one RR crossing on Forsgate drive around 3/4 of a mile and its not too bad for lowered cars)
drive on forsgate for about 2.3 miles
turn right on Lakeview drive (Thompson Park) Turn wide moderate size sink/pothole
make your first left and drive along the lake
first parking lot on the right
If you cross a second RR you went too far. the last time i passed over the 2nd RR is was VERY ROUGH
Please do not rush through town. they never bothered me for exhaust but they don't like speeding.
I did NOT get an alcohol permit, so please no beer or alcohol.
Feel free to bring the family there a "zoo" in the park. and from what the lady told me there are 6 grill and a few tables so we will need charcoal. Also if anybody has any canopy.

hangout, enjoy the food, people and cars. relate to one another enjoy the scene. if you have family enjoy the park. your surrounded by lexus/car enthusiasts. if you have a question don't be afraid to ask. respect one another and respect other people's car. there are going to be different styles and people at the bbq. most importantly just have fun.
