NELOC Leadership 2014
Members old and new, I'm writing this thread up to address the current leadership situation within NELOC. Many new members who came aboard at the end of 2012 through 2013 were undoubtedly greeted with a very confusing view of who was "running the show." After TJ (tjmhillz) announced he was stepping down as co-leader with me, I was left to figure out who would be a good candidate to pick up the job. After some discussion with my good friend and very dedicated member Andy (NYGS3ANDY), we did agree that he would be taking the position from that point on. I never got around to making a formal announcement about it to the NELOC community or hand over any responsibilities to him that I couldn't handle at the time while I was MIA due to things going on in my personal life. Being that he was still a relatively new member, many of you had no idea who he was or even how much he was contributing to hold things together and I want to thank him greatly for all his hard work. At the same time, I owe you all an apology for leaving everyone in the clouds as to what exactly was going on in the club and not putting together at least a small event schedule to go off of. Let's not forget though that everything shouldn't be the responsibility of just one or two people, but instead a group effort. If you have any ideas or suggestions, don't hesitate to throw them out there to see what others think. Don't be afraid to plan events, even if they're small, within your own area to get more people involved. Get together and see who could be ambassadors for your state, so we can have more organized discussions at our big meets. Let's work together and make 2014 a year to remember folks!

All jokes aside i want to thank everybody for the support. I did try to hold 2013 together. It was a bit messy but i was not "leader" at the time and i did not want to just start calling shots. I did print out some decals and mail them to some ppl.
I always thought 1 person to run NELOC was not enough, sense i found out in 2011. Even tho there are 2 leaders in NELOC now, it might be a bit smother. There is only so much 2 ppl can do. We do help in every state. One person that did step up in 2013 for NY is Veron. He held a NY Tuesday night weekly meet. if every state can hold a bi-weekly meet in the summer, I think that will help us out.
