No one is realizing hes keeping the cali plates????

If your keeping your Cali plates your good dude. They wont enforce laws to a vehicle that is inspected by another state. I moved out to Cali for a year and kept my NJ plates. Ended up taking off my front plate because lets face it, what CA Cop would know I cant have my front plate off.

I quickly put the front one back on crossing the PA/NJ boarder coming home.

Keep the cali plate and do 25% all around and a ***** the Police sticker.

To be fair keeping the CA plates is 50/50. Still need to talk things over with a few folks. But good to know about the immunity with the plates though

It all comes down to the judge if you do get a ticket and chances are NJ is a hungry state so they'll make you pay.

Default cop issues

Echoing what others have said...it's all about the cop and the car. If your in a money town and you're driving a flashy tricked out ride w/ tints, stickers, and a booming system ur F'd. The darker your skin is, matters alot too. If your in an area that actually has real problems, the cops have better thing to do than harass people for b.s.
All that being said... I say F- it and have my car exactly the way I want, then deal w/ ALL that comes w/ it. At the end of the year, the bill from d.b. yackers is around $200. I drive a dropped down SC w/ headers & 3" exhaust, NO front license plate, 30% tints (all around), tinted license plate cover & frame, cranking a 2000 watt system, and live in Bergen County.
-Just dont drive drunk or smoke while ur driving.

-let me know if u want to know how to get out of a "No Front License Plate" ticket.
