Well folks, the time has come to set up one more BBQ to close out the season. Although this year's participation seemed to be a little weak overall, I think we can all show each other that the club is still alive and thriving by attending this event. There were about 70 cars in attendance at the last one! All I ask is for EVERYONE to contribute. It isn't fair when just a handful of people have to spend their hard earned money to feed an army of people.

it's pretty much official. i just have to request that day off and go to the department of parks to apply for the permit which is $30. i didn't get to check it out just yet, but i might do that tomorrow. i believe it's the same spot the mr2 bbq was held if i remember correctly

wow that is cheap...I know its the right park but I'm not sure about the address...I also try to look for the address on the MR2 forum but check with the park authorities where the grilles are located. I know there is only 2 spots with grilles.

the address i gave is the corner of glenside ave and sky top drive, so it's the best one to use for a gps. the woman i spoke to told me both available picnic areas have grills (sky top and seeleys pond), so i just stuck with sky top. i'm going to check out the location tomorrow afternoon and snap some pics. if i'm satisfied with the setup, i'll go to the office in westfield and get the permit
