Well whats^^ mike welcome to the club.
@ tj and jimmy, if we are all down there on Saturday night after the car show, we should find a spot to eat. So we can all talk and get aquatinted. Maybe find a parking lot a park in a circle w/ our members in the middle, that would be a cool photo opt.
And if y'all are comin to the meet on the 26th, can y'all bring my shirt??

OC is always a big crowd draw and has been a big success for NELOC since we vacated the Carlisle Style and Performance show. This is your opportunity, being the new skool, to pull off a VERY BIG event with success.
Parking,,,
Cars competing for prize have to be registered beforehand, and HAVE TO BE PARKED INSIDE FOR THE ENTIRE WEEKEND. This may have changed over the past few years, and it will be up to the organizer for the group to talk with the promoter to see if there is any leeway in this, but to my knowledge this is how it has been. Am sure that APEX and BERNIEIS will chime in here as they have been institutional with this venue for us in the past, and can provide more info.
Those not competeing can STILL park together, but IIRC will be outside. Careful organization of a pre-meet spot along with the coordinated effort of a unified roll-in with strengthen things and send the statement as we have done in the past. Let me know if I can be of any assistance with the "behind the scenes" coordination, if needed.
THINGS TO CONDSIDER,,,
The sight of many Lexus' , or any grouping for that matter, WILL draw ALOT of attention. Events such as this one are also a BIG ticketing event for Law enforcement. Maintaining self control, at all times, resisting the urge to "wild out", and pretty umuch acting like an organized group WILL earn you less attention from the law. As a group, it IS possible to have a large caraven (largest one to date has been 60 cars{Carlisle,, few years ago. see heritage thread for more info]) and we even had them block traffic for us as we were coming into the event (their own doing) because we DEF were not acting the part of the "out of control" club. This WILL keep the grouping, as a whole, on the low with law enforcement; as well as save our guys the unexpected run-in with them. As long as your caravans are well organized, kept tight in formation(remember to obey the traffic laws,, and it's OK if someone has to cut the caravan for a min,,just re-group and re-form ASAP), and the level is kept to a high professional then you guys should have no problems and enjoy yourselves.
Just a lil $0.02 cents from one of your OG's. You guys can shine,,how much depends on the cooperation of all involved.

Props tony, talked to brian stoehr one of the event coordinators. He advised me that the rules are practically the same as last year. If you are competing you will have to pull in on Friday and remain there until sunday evening. Disconnect batteries no charge for pluging in your own generators. Gas tanks should be no more than 3/4 full and no less than 1/4 full, 1/2 of tank is perfect. We can still roll in together, just beware that this will be packed and the law enforcement is out there to catch anybody acting foolish
