NYC Body Shops??
Hi...
Some moron scratched up the passenger side doors and small part of rear panel... its one long scratch by a key? snow blower? parallel parking? i cant figure it out... my matador red IS is looking awful...help
Anyone in the NYC area know a good place to get a paint job at a fair price?
Anyone know an estimate?
Thanks,
Mike

sorry to hear that, i feel for you and your IS!!!
is it so bad that it needs to be repainted?!?! did they get to the paint, sheet metal or is it just a fine white line? is it deep enough to catch your nail if you go over it with your finger?
depending on the depth of the scratch, you may be able to buff it out yourself, or just take it to a good detailer and get it buffed out there instead of having to get it repainted, which can be a PITA and in the end, the color may not match up with the rest of the car, so should be avoided if at all possible.
can you post pics of the scratched areas so we can take a look? that would better help some of the more informed members of the forum (not myself) to point you in the right direction. good luck with it whatever you do!
