Wow outta 183 members, only about 20 to 25 people are active members, I have no idea there were these many people in NELOC. I thought it was around 60 or 70 tops. I gotta find more MD people.

I think our meets are intimidating. Some think we are all heavy into the Tuning scene. Make this clear NELOC is heavy into the Brand Lexus. I initially just wanted a SC but after a meet I caught the bug...So all members please come out I promise you will have a great time...I will do stand up and battle anybody in an eating competition. Smitty Trukn will strip! Please bring $5's… no really we Always have a fun time..

Thats why i stated you should have to come to at least 3 meets before you ask for stickers...(i was being sarcastic by the way) So many members yet when it comes down to it, like you said only 20-25 active.

I agree with you Malik. I really think people don't realize that its more of a family get together type of vibe. They probably assume that we're trying to do car shows type of meets every chance we get.

Our meets are basically greet, meet, lets hang out and have fun type of environment. Alot of us converse here on a daily with each other so its like meeting up with your buddy and just hanging out.

I've met alot of good people here that I now consider friends. I always look forward to meeting up with them.

Matter of fact when i had my accident last year the first ones to come to my aid was the NELOC brotherhood. Todd(Rising_Sun) even went and picked up my wife and brought her to the hospital in the midst of the chaos that night for me. Tony (NYaristo) and several other members were also at the hospital. They kept her company while i was in the ER and she was awaiting the results (I was ummm very medicated and unconscious).

That is why i consider alot NELOC'rs my extended family.

So for those of you who wonder whether you should come out. Just do it!!! the worst that can happen is that you meet new friends.

I agree with the statements made by both Gsoup as well as Malik. I joined NELOC in March of last year and though I have not been able to attend too many meets, I have developed a love for my NELOC brothers and sisters. Another member Greed777 and I were having a conversation on the phone and he repeated a statement which was said to him by his wife(Neloc's princess)KIM. In a nutshell it was said that Neloc is such a tight knit group, that it can be said that we have a stronger relationship with one another than most members of church do. The fact is we all have found one common interest (our namebrand cars) and have come together to celebrate that. I myself, know of a few thousand churchs' that whould be envious of the position which we hold in each others' lives. For the newest members, here is a little info, we as members of this "community" will go to great lengths, and do whatever is necessary in order to come to the aid of another member. If you dont believe what is being said here, please take the time to just READsome of the other threads on this forum. Even though we do clown on each other, alot sometimes, there really is a genuine love for one another. One of the only things that will not be tolerated, is the open be-rating of another member. We do not require you to mod your car (although you will definately catch the mod bug) to be a member here, just clean up your ride and take pride in it.
