2015 COLORADO LEXUS MEET (June 21)

Fun day, fun fun day.
lot of great looking cars and what a great selection of classics toyotas.
Mikef has an amazing car, just amazing.
Unsober1 needs to talk with lexus...im pretty sure he's missing an engine...darn plastic covered engines.
MIC has a darn cute lil one, while Dada has secrets under the hood (sneaky sneaky).
Somehow managed to leave without even saying hello to Ali (hello!), even though we were parked almost next to each other (who had the silver blue one?).
Was interesting to see turbo setups, ffim, na-t with long intake runners, gte swap, and a small Yota wagon (from the late 70s?) with its cute carb 4 banger and its itty bitty turbo. Oddly, only one sc4 was there....there was a lot of v8 goodness, just not many in sc form. Even met a gentleman that suffered my fate, ended up with a drifters car...but he had better clues(damn interior rippers!). A great showing of lifted material, many a 4runner built for muddy rockey mountains. I was truly amazed at how many ae86's (and earlier gens) were here in co and damn damn nice looking. Mr2's were out in force, rc cars for men heh. Kinda wanna get one to join the fun (plus I think it would be a great rwd track day car). A special treat was the yellow toyota truck/suv from '82, really really unique. Dunno what happened with the IS squad, parked all over the place lol (I kid, parking was a bit annoying, not enough spots in the right areas). Also sometime in the 70s toyota did something with a ford and plymouth...and they birthed a mini muscle car (old celica st, very clean)
....and when was the last time ya saw a cressida?
Thanks aQ for the meet!
I'll get some pics up soon, rest time for now.

Was hoping to me another LS owner in Colorado. It might me the flag ship car for lexus, but I kind of felt more like the step child of lexus cars.
Eight, Mikef, and MIC, hope to see you all around again before the next one!

For sure, it was nice getting a face with a name, sorry i wasn't around for that long, we went to get some clothes for baby girl since we were at the outlet and it was a little too hot for rae being out in the heat for that long. We have no problems meeting up for a little get together for lunch, dinner, or just to hang out, we will be trying to move late fall closer to the Denver area so it would be alot easier to meet up. See you guys soon.

It was nice meeting alot of you guys as well. It was seriously hot out there I got sunburnt pretty good, I think I was bright red by the end of the meet. I really hope they do take it back to the garage like last year it was so much nicer being in the shade, but the turnout was pretty good at castle rock. everyone who brought a pop up tent that was a really smart idea.
