I think you guys are on to something I will look into starting a club page on facebook this week.
you guys think I should keep it "Colorado Lexus Club" or make it "Colorado Lexus and Toyota Club"?
I was thinking just keep the Title "Colorado Lexus Club" and say that all Toyota / Lexus are welcome, since there are probably a few toyota clubs out there already.
liquid that's pretty funny but a good point I will choose a place next time with lowered cars in mind, or if you have good spots in mind already just PM to me. I was thinking of finding a good food place with a big lot and approaching the owners so its all legit in the future, or even at a less used park I doubt they would care too much or I can try and reserve an event type thing. only thing is oustide there won't be shade which was really great in the garage when its so sunny outside, but I do have a pop up shade thing I can bring. anyways looking forward to the next one, should be able to fit in at least one more this year, I will start looking at dates

Driver School Candidate
new Denver member w/ '10 LS AWD
Hello fellow Colorado CL members,
Just picked up my 2nd LS a few months ago and looking forward to getting other CO members local knowledge and insights. Had a '95 LS 400 and loved the car. The new (to me) '10 with AWD and air suspension is light years ahead in terms of quiet, comfortable, features. Simply the best car on the road.
The quality and quantity of information on this site is astounding. It helped me buy my newest Lexus and saved me big $$ knowing there were some issues, primarily the control arm/bushing problem that plagued so many LS manufactured during that, and previous years.
I'll create a separate post seeing if anyone can offer some specific advice as to types of bushing used, cost, where you got them from, if you used a local CO shop to install etc. And most importantly, how are they performing now? My preference would be to replace all the control arm bushings but re-use the existing arms. Any comments regarding this topic would be greatly appreciated and I have read every post on this issue but there's not much mention of how the new arms, or bushing, are working months or years after replacement. I plan on keeping the car for quite a while and I rather not do this again in another 30k or 40K miles if possible. Spending a few extra $ on quality bushings is fine by me.
And I will be posting what advice I can offer from time to time as I have made some decent connections over the years, and have a little local knowledge. We're pretty much been an all Toyota family and have been for 30 years.
I look forward to sharing what I can, as I've already gotten so much from the Club already. Wish this was around when I bought my '95!
