February '12 - Please NUMBER and post your pics of the month here
New month, new start. I'm new to this forum and very new to photography. I'm sorry if my shots aren't good, hopefully I'll pick up some constructive criticism or tips here.
Body: Canon EOS 7D
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS
+ 67mm UV filter
+ Canon EW-73B Lens Hood
No tripod at the moment, looking to purchase a Manfrotto tripod and head.
Thanks for looking! (:

Thank you for the kind words 2BENVD, neojungle1, and greg0126. Means a lot (:
Still a noob. A lot more to learn. Some of the other work on this forum provided by other photographers are amazigggg!
How about some underwater photos! I went diving last weekend at Anacapa Island, which is one of the Channel Islands off the coast of Santa Barbara, California. I got an underwater housing for my point and shoot (Canon SD980 IS). Unfortunately, the lens port of the housing blocks about 90% of my camera's flash. I desperately need an external underwater strobe.

Wtf...my shots are like point and shoot compared to yours. Your shots are amazing! I want to learn to shoot and edit like that.
In my opinion your pictures are fine the way they are. Looks straight out of the camera which is good.
