That a nice angle from the castle .......but if you see on the right at the bottom there a hikers and bike trail leading down a long path under a bridge into walk way that put you semi close to the bridge love the long exposed shot on the west side highway ..

Well, I only got to caress/fondle it for about 15 minutes, as the Nikon reps had just flown in from Toronto. I know some of them, as I always see them at trade shows and such, so we got this call saying they were in town and had something to show. So they come in and plonk it down. My eyes went when I realized what it was! I never thought I'd see one until late February.

I was not allowed to take any images off the memory card, just look at them on the rear LCD. The camera handles like a dream, the ergonomics are fantastic (the exposure compensation goes up when you turn the dial to the right by default now!!!!), it's so responsive, the refresh rate on the rear LCD during live view and taking videos is smoother than on any Canon now, and the Canon-like joystick on the back is a welcome addition. My hands conform to the body better than a Canon 1D body.

You probably want to read my impressions on image quality, right? From what I could see on the rear LCD, 204,800 ISO looks to be like what 50,000 ISO is on the D3s, maybe a bit worse but I couldn't really tell. The firmware hadn't been finalized, so I was not allowed to look at the images on my computer, unfortunately.

All in all, I think it's a camera that is going to be invaluable to PJ's, sports shooters & maybe high end wedding photogs.
