Yes, it charges your phone. As for pictures, I don't have any, but the unit comes with everything you see on the Vaistech webiste. PLUS, I'm including the MHL adapter from Samsung and an HDMI cable, There's also Youtube videos etc that will show you what it does.It's pretty cool. You can even add a bluetooth mouse that'll allow you to navigate through the screen on your car, just like a home computer or laptop.
