Sorry to bug ya instead of calling a CSR, but since I've a 2002 nav system, I assume I'd need to buy a ver. 5/6 nav system player box just to make this work (I don't recall the neweer nav versions being all that different for the $$ it'd cost, but if I am wrong, let me know...I also believe this is the only system you don't have to splice a wiring harness for, and that it is also one of the few ways to keep using the nav system-or at least the VAIS proprietary/Apple map display while driving)?

Hi John, if you use the details link above, and then click buy it will ask you questions about your vehicle and display the system that will work for you. I had in an 07 GS350 non nav system.
