Everything are in perfect working conditions. them Alpines looks flawless, while the EQS has some minor scratches but it doesnt affect the performance. Need to know for SURE if this will work with the Alpine ipod interface.

Yep, it works with Alpine KCA-420i. I personally never did that, but here is a detailed review of someone else using CDA-9835 with that ipod interface.
