If your 2nd gen GS has a double din stereo, then yes it will fit.

i think the GS is double din, but would the, "custom hand painted/sanded mounting bracket made to match the IS300 interior" work for my GS is what i was asking. i should have been more clear. thanks.

No, I dont think so. You might or might not need a mounting bracket for your GS. The only reason why the IS300 needs one is because the space where the stock radio is placed is not a perfect rectangle/square. So you need a mounting kit to fill the gap on the sides.
