custoFT: Pair of Alpine LCD m installed on headrest LA/OC area
I'm selling for a friend. We are from the LA/OC area. So Cali. He has a 98 GS300 with a pair of headrest that had alpine monitors installed on them. We are looking for stock headrest and cash in trade for ours. The color of the headrest is tan not sure on exact name of color. I'm not sure on model and size yet...but he says they are 7". He also has navigation and DVD all Alpine...I'll get back to everyone with pics and more info since he's busy right now and we're 50 miles apart... if u are interested we can do paypal or even Ebay to make it safe for you...I have a premier verified paypal account and my ebay stats are 150+ positive feedbacks...thank you We are looking to get $400 for the headrest and trade.
Shipping will be $20 for both headrest....we prefer local but if a distant buyer comes through first then we'll ship...but in order for us to be sure we need ur stock headrest first. In good condition please. Tan color just like in the picture. If you are serious please email me and we'll discuss over the phone.
if ur interested in the car it is for sale soon

are these the type of head rests you can turn off even with the main screen deck turned on? any remote control?
also are the headrest mounted on tight? i know some people have headrests mounted but its kind of loose and you can move the screen if you adjust the headrest tilts....
each screen has its own on/off buttons. so you can you turn off the monitors individually. They way I have it set up is that I have a main switch in the driver seat that turns the rear monitors on and off. The monitors are very secure. They are mounted tightly and will not budge.
Some have been asking about the model number and so here it is
Alpine TME-M750
We both thought they were 7" but looks like they're 6.5in...he says that he couldn't go any bigger because the stock headrest wouldn't be able to fit any bigger. Also the brain for both units will be included. one wire each monitor was installed along the post not inside. He said they would have installed inside the post but he said they would have to cut each end to expose the hollow tube. He decided not to chop it and just ran it along the post. Whoever buys it can run it down the post themselves.
He has a Alpine DVD player also but waiting to get the model number for that too.
