Tee, I'm going to have to cancel this evening to help the wife of our best friends. They moved to Orlando and have a house for sale in Cobb County. Yesterday morning someone listed it on Craigslist as a rental property with a too good to be true monthly cost of half what it should rent for. The wife came up from Florida today to see her sister. While she was at her house that is for sale two people came by asking about it being a rental. When she told them it wasn't a rental they told her about the ad on Craigslist. She called the cops and wants us too lend some moral support as she is freaked out this is happening. It appears that the scam is that the person posing as the owner requires a Credit Report (for ID theft) and a deposit. But then advises that they forgot the key and will return but they never come back. Or something like that, so say the real estate agents. My wife wants to help her but wants me to be here when the cops come tonight. I can't believe people do stuff like this. Hope you understand and I'll let you know how it turns out.
