    Hi Nuum;

    You helped me out a couple of years ago with a 1999 RX300 Knock Sensor job gone bad. (I swallowed a washer down the intake into number 5 cyl.) Anyways, I'm over 300,000 miles now on the same drivetrain! thanks to you.-

    I need your expertise again.
    My next question is multiple and has to do with my ABS.
    My light has now been solid a couple of days now. I suspect it could be one of those rings on one of my axle or a sensor. Without pulling each axle or sensor, is there a way I can retreve codes myself with that diagnostic plug under the hood? I read I could remove short pin. Jumper Tc and E1 terminals. Turn key on and get codes from abs light flashing. Would this work on my RX 300?

    Thank you for your time.-

    I new to the forum as of July 30, 2010, and am still waiting for my SC which will be either a 2007, 2008, or 2009 depending on what my dealer can locate. However, I have a question for you. I saw the photo of your car and I really like the cover you have over the rear seat area. I have searched the net trying to find it with no luck. Would you please PM me the vendor? Thank you. ADVICE PLEASE! oil change gone bad!

    After an uneventful 70,000 mile oil change on my 2005 RX330, I drove a few blocks and the check engine light went on and the VSC light went on andI noticed a burning smell. I drove back that few blocks and left it at the then closed dealer. The next day they say I need a new 02 sensor and a valve cover gasket seal total bill $1025!
    I had no problems before the oil change!
    Since, they have covered the02 sensor under goodwill waranty and reduced the price on the seal for the gasket cover to $433.
    They say they put in 7 quarts of oil and that after driving those few blocks I had 6.3 quarts. do you think I could have lost over a half of quart of oil from the seal leak wothout ever noticing a problem the 5000 miles I drove between oil changes.
    Do you think they could have overfilled my oil causing frothing and a blow in the seal and a bad 02 sensor?
    Help! Please need your advice.
