    Thanks for the reponse. To answer your question; I didn't have my trunk removed, nor have I done any work on the car at all. It just stopped working one day. I did notice that if i use the key in the trunk lock and only slightly turn it (as not to force the manual release) the electronic motor will kick in and open the trunk. This is why I don't think the motor is shot....it seems like it is just not getting a signal to open.

    I have verified that the motor is fine. Do you have more info on the juction block, and part number?
