You're right about the depreciation, I love three year old , off lease cars, very well maintained and generally driven by professionals. Wow, the deals on Ebay are just fantastic. Hey man, just checked the no reserve auction for the 02 in MN, it had 74k on the odometer, went for $ 16,872. It was one owner clean, silver/black, prices are getting good !

I've sold about five cars casually online as a consumer. The biggest need I see out there right now is what I call the "donut hole" of cars...

People that have good taste like you and I, don't want to buy a "new" car and pay all the depreciation and $1,000/month note or put a bunch of money down, but aren't afraid to get their own financing and take a risk on an older luxury car.

I would love to get my hands on a 2000-2004 ES300 for like $8k and turn around and sell it after I detail it and make it pretty, maybe put some $700 chrome rims/tires on it for like $11-$12k. For example

Maximas, Camrys, Avalons, Altimas, ES300's are all GREAT cars to resell
