    Hi Jeff:
This is Ming from Taiwan. My friend has a 1998 Gs300 and he put a turbo kit on it. And now his stock tranny is going out. Do you know anyone sells the better clutch disc? Or do you have any suggestion? Thanks

    Jeff,

You helped out on a GS300 AC Compressor conversation last week.
Do you have a garage or just an enthusiast? I am contemplating a fuel filter change on my ancient 94 LS400 here in Dallas but also know this can be most unpleasant.

    Hello JeffTsai

I saw you have been writting on
Two, not so common maintenance issues, UCA, and VVTI Cam Sproket O-Ring Seal..*PICS*

Can you help me with this:
I asked JohnP about it, but no response. But I think you can help me too? The question is about repairing vvt-i pulley when its leak:

How can I find that O ring? inside vvti pulley
Could silicone be enough? when that ring is destroied

Can you tell me when I am oppening vvti pulley, which step I have to be ceraful so dont destroy it???

Shuld I make some marks before I remove the 5 bolts????

    What can go wrong?

    Thanks,
    Veljko

    Hi

I read your thread on turbos, it was amazing really helpful.

As you said turbo mods is something that a person should not cheap out on.

That is why I am considering the SRT turbo kit stage 2.75. But it says its for the IS 300, I asked SRT and they said the same can be used on the GS300.

But would any modifications need to be made ?

My main concern is not to have the engine blow up, what would be the safest psi to run on with the turbo kit?

Is there anything that I would need to get, that is not included in the complete kit stage 2.75 ?

Any other information would be really appreciated.

    thanks
